“Control arms”
Control Arms was a called for a global, legally binding Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) to stop weapons being used
to fuel conflict, poverty and human rights abuses. The campaign was jointly run by Amnesty International,
IANSA and Oxfam.
At the end of the exhibition you could adhere to the campaign and participate in a symbolic action: take a
picture with a webcam to join the Million Faces, a social mobilization initiative that aims to globally deliver a
million photos of people around the world in the United Nations Conference 2006. These photographs served
to show governments the indignation of the people, their rejection of the living situation of uncontrolled trade
of arms and support to the demands of the campaign.
